I had lifeless eyes, a hollow belly, and a stressed out heart. I obeyed the commands of an eating disorder, chained to the duty of dying for perfection. My eyes had slowly been transformed to blur out truth.
I went to the closet to grab a blanket for the Minister, but then I hesitated for just a moment. What if friends come to visit? What if our heater breaks? This is our warmest blanket… Do I just give it away?
